Research records

CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin blend

Common combination vial pairing a GHRH analogue with a GH secretagogue. Sold premixed.

Evidence category: Clinical study. This describes the source category, not approval or certainty.

Regulatory statement in source: Not separately recorded; do not infer approval from the evidence category.

Human data covers the separate parts, not the blends sold today. A randomised placebo-controlled trial of CJC-1295 in healthy adults found dose-dependent rises in growth hormone and IGF-1, with no serious adverse reactions reported, and a second study found growth hormone pulses were preserved. Ipamorelin's own evidence is preclinical. Neither compound is approved for any use, and a 2026 review of peptide use in sport warns that supply is largely unregulated, with mislabelled or contaminated products and risks including cardiovascular strain and insulin resistance.

Benefits reported in the imported source

  • A placebo-controlled trial of CJC-1295 raised growth hormone and IGF-1 in healthy adults
  • No serious adverse reactions were reported in that trial, and growth hormone pulses persisted

Risks and limits

  • Human data covers the separate parts, not the blends sold today; ipamorelin's data is preclinical
  • Neither compound is approved for any use
  • A review warns supply is unregulated, with mislabelled or contaminated products and heart strain

Source bottom line: Human data exists for CJC-1295 alone, not the blend; neither part is approved and supply is unregulated.

Uncertainty: Reference information only. Not medical advice.

Study protocols — reports, not instructions

healthy adults aged 21-61 in two randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind ascending-dose trials

Reported regimen
CJC-1295 subcutaneously, as single ascending doses in one trial and as two or three weekly or biweekly doses in the other
Duration
28 days and 49 days
Reported outcome
Mean plasma GH rose 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or more and IGF-1 1.5- to 3-fold for 9-11 days; no serious adverse reactions were reported.
Source

Claim provenance

healthy men aged 20-40 years

Reported regimen
a single injection of 60 or 90 micrograms per kg of CJC-1295, with 20-minute blood sampling over 12 h before and 1 week after
Duration
single dose
Reported outcome
Trough GH rose 7.5-fold, mean GH 46% and IGF-1 45%, with pulse frequency and magnitude unchanged; the two doses did not differ.
Source
Pulsatile secretion of growth hormone (GH) persists during continuous stimulation by CJC-1295, a long-acting GH-releasing hormone analog (Ionescu 2006)

rat pituitary cells, pentobarbital-anaesthetised rats and conscious swine

Reported regimen
single doses of ipamorelin; ED50 80 nmol/kg in rats and 2.3 nmol/kg in swine
Duration
single dose
Reported outcome
Ipamorelin released GH with potency and efficacy similar to GHRP-6 and, unlike GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, did not raise ACTH or cortisol.
